On Saturday, March 22, former St. Thomas More High School standout Haleigh Timmer’s current collegiate team the South Dakota State Jackrabbits won 74-68 against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls during the championship.

The South Dakota State Jackrabbits’ next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion against UConn Huskies.

Haleigh Timmer’s hometown is Rapids City and game position is guard.
