In Champaign, road closures have been announced to facilitate a sanitary sewer repair at the intersection of New Street and Park Avenue. A&R Mechanical Services Inc. will be responsible for the closure of New Street between Church Street and University Avenue, as well as Park Avenue between Prospect Avenue and New Street.
The work is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, and is expected to conclude by 4 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, contingent upon weather conditions. While access to all properties in the area will remain open, the roads will not be accessible for through traffic during this period.
