Gibson Area Hospital announces early closures due to winter weather

Several Gibson Area Hospital and Health Services (GAHHS) locations have announced early closures on January 10, 2025, due to winter weather conditions. The following clinics will be closing at various times throughout the day:

The GAH Advanced Wound Healing Clinic and GAH Cardio Pulmonary Rehab, both located at #10 Doctors Park, will close at noon. The GAH Oncology Clinic/Infusion Center and GAH Outpatient Clinic, situated in the Medical Office Building-2nd Floor and Hospital Main Campus respectively, will also close at noon.

The GAH Orthopaedics Clinic on the first floor of the Medical Office Building will close at 1 pm. At 2 pm, the GAH General Surgery Clinic in the Medical Office Building-2nd Floor and GAH Therapy Services-Paxton Location will cease operations.

Closing slightly later at 2:30 pm is the GAH Dental Health clinic on the Hospital Main Campus. The Paxton Clinic located at 227 N. Market St., Paxton, IL, will shut its doors at 3 pm.

A number of facilities are scheduled to close by 4 pm. These include the GAH Cardiology Clinic, ENT Clinic, Pulmonology Clinic, Urology Clinic all located in various floors of the Medical Office Building in Gibson City; as well as Gibson Recovery Optimizing Wellness (GROW) and Family Health Care of Gibson City.

Additional closures include Gibson Health of Mahomet closing at 12:30 pm and Family Health Care of Farmer City closing at 12:30 pm as well.

Patients are advised to seek emergency medical assistance by calling 9-1-1 if necessary during these closures.
