The match was part of the Vermilion Valley Conference, with varsity play scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM. The school encouraged support for the Blue Devils team. The following day, December 13, BHRA extended congratulations to Macy Danner for being selected by Parkland Volleyball to participate in their annual All-Star game on December 15.
