Raina Terry, an athlete from Ohio, has been recognized with All-Region honors by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for the third consecutive year. Her performance during the regular season placed her at the top of the league, averaging 5.27 points per set and securing second place with a total of 579.5 points.

Terry's accomplishments include ranking third in the league with 55 aces and 486 total kills. In the NCAA Tournament, she led her team with 18 kills and maintained a .211 hitting percentage against UNI.

Throughout the season, Terry achieved double-figure kills in 30 out of 31 matches, with six instances surpassing 20 kills. She was instrumental in leading her team in kills for 27 matches this year. Notably, she is the only Big Ten player to exceed both 2,000 career kills and 200 aces and leads Division I with 220 service line strikes.

In addition to her AVCA recognition, Terry was unanimously selected for the All-Big Ten First Team in 2024, being one of only five players to receive unanimous votes.

As an all-region selection for the Midwest Region, Terry is now eligible for AVCA All-America teams. The announcement for these teams and other awards will take place next week at the AVCA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.
