Stats and notes from former University of Illinois players in the NFL were highlighted during Week 14 of the 2024 season.
Isaiah Adams, an offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals, played every offensive snap and participated in three special teams snaps during their 30-18 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. His teammate, Tip Reiman, a tight end, also started and made a fumble recovery.
Tony Adams of the New York Jets recorded two tackles over 37 defensive snaps and 15 special teams snaps as his team fell to the Miami Dolphins with a score of 32-26.
Chase Brown, running back for the Cincinnati Bengals, had an impressive performance with 58 rushing yards on 14 carries and added 65 receiving yards on seven receptions along with a touchdown in their victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Ted Karras also contributed by playing all offensive snaps at center.
The Philadelphia Eagles' Sydney Brown was inactive during their win against the Carolina Panthers. Similarly, Nate Hobbs of the Las Vegas Raiders did not play in their game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kerby Joseph of the Detroit Lions participated fully on defense and special teams while recording four tackles in their narrow win over Green Bay Packers. Chase McLaughlin contributed four extra points for Tampa Bay's victory against Las Vegas.
Tommy DeVito saw limited action for New York Giants in their close loss to New Orleans Saints. Meanwhile, Doug Kramer played a few snaps for Chicago Bears during their defeat by San Francisco 49ers.
Jihad Ward from Minnesota Vikings managed two tackles across his defensive plays as they won against Atlanta Falcons where Casey Washington was inactive. Isaiah Williams participated in both offense and special teams for Cincinnati Bengals aiding them to overcome Dallas Cowboys.
Seattle Seahawks' Devon Witherspoon started at cornerback making seven tackles including one tackle for loss contributing significantly to their win over Arizona Cardinals.
Several other former Illini players were on bye weeks or did not participate due to various reasons including Kendrick Green, Jake Hansen, Vederian Lowe, Quan Martin, Jer'Zhan Newton, Alex Palczewski, Del'Shawn Phillips among others who are either on injured reserve or practice squads like Dawuane Smoot and Milo Eifler respectively.
