The Illinois football program is set to participate in the Big Ten Media Days in Las Vegas. Representatives from the team, including Luke Altmyer, J.C. Davis, Xavier Scott, and head coach Bret Bielema, will be featured on Tuesday as part of Day 1 activities alongside five other programs.
Bret Bielema will take the stage following Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti. He is scheduled to be the first Big Ten head coach to speak at the main stage press conference on Tuesday. This event will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network at 1:30 p.m. CT.
Illinois' schedule for live appearances on Tuesday includes several events:
- At 11:30 a.m. CT, Bielema will appear on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" on FS1 and FOX Sports Radio.
- The press conference featuring Bielema will occur at 1:30 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
- Student-athletes from Illinois will feature on Sirius XM B1G Radio at 1:45 p.m. CT.
- Bielema returns to Sirius XM B1G Radio at 4:00 p.m. CT.
- At 5:30 p.m. CT, student-athletes will appear on the Big Ten Network Studio Set.
- Finally, at 5:45 p.m. CT, Bielema will also appear on the Big Ten Network Studio Set.
