Most Gibson Area Hospital and Health Services (GAHHS) locations will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal business hours will resume for most locations on November 27th and 29th unless otherwise noted.
In case of a medical emergency, individuals are advised to call 9-1-1.
The GAH Advanced Wound Healing Clinic at the Main Hospital Campus will remain closed from Wednesday, November 27th through Friday, November 29th. The Behavioral Wellness Center and Caring Connections in Gibson City will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
The GAH Cardiology Clinic, located on the second floor of the Medical Office Building in Gibson City, will also be closed on Thursday and Friday. Similarly, GAH Diabetes Support Services at the Hospital Main Campus will not operate during these two days.
GAH Dental Health services at the Hospital Main Campus will close early at 1 pm on Friday after being closed all day Thursday. GAH Elite Sport and Fitness locations across Gibson City, Paxton, Fairbury, and Cissna Park will be closed only on Thursday.
Family Health Care facilities in Fairbury, Farmer City, and Gibson City have announced closures for both Thursday and Friday. The GAH ENT Clinic at #1 Doctors Park will follow the same schedule.
Other clinics including GAH General Surgery Clinic, Neurology Clinic & Rheumatology Clinic, Oncology Clinic/Infusion Center, Orthopaedics Clinic, Pulmonology Clinic, Urology Clinic along with various Gibson Area Primary Care locations have similar closure schedules spanning either one or both days around Thanksgiving.
The Paxton Weekend Clinic remains open during normal weekend hours despite closures affecting regular weekday operations.
