Data showed that Am. Indian students made up 0.3% of the 24,847 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the 14 districts in Champaign County, Urbana School District 116 recorded the highest enrollment of Am. Indian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 59 students.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Champaign County.
