Freshman golfer Erica Lee has shared insights into the Illinois women's golf team's transition into the off-season. The team recently concluded their fall season at the Landfall Tradition tournament, hosted by the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Lee described the experience as positive, noting favorable weather and strong team performance.
Returning to Champaign, the team is now focused on academics and refining their skills during the off-season. They held a productive first meeting and individual sessions with coaches to plan for improvement in preparation for the spring season.
Reflecting on her initial season with Illinois, Lee expressed gratitude for her experiences and enthusiasm for future opportunities. "My first season as a part of the Illinois women's golf team was an incredible experience filled with so many unforgettable memories," she stated.
