The first home game is scheduled for September 3 against Illinois State at Huff Hall. In their previous encounter last year, Illinois defeated the Redbirds 3-1, with Brooke Mosher contributing significantly with 37 assists and 16 digs.
Illinois will then participate in a tournament at Iowa State starting September 6. They will play Toledo first and then face host Iowa State on September 7. The weekend concludes with a match against Wake Forest on September 8.
On the following weekend, Illinois travels to Kentucky for another tournament where they will face Dayton on September 13 and WKU on September 14. Both teams advanced to the second round of last year's NCAA Tournament.
