City staff from the Equity & Engagement Department hosted the first Immigrant Business Showcase on Market Street on Saturday, September 21, 2024. This event was part of the City’s involvement in Welcoming Week 2024.
The showcase featured immigrant-owned businesses and included food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities. The event drew a crowd of more than 120 people, highlighting the contributions of the immigrant community to the local economy and culture.
"On Saturday, September 21, 2024, City staff from the Equity & Engagement Department hosted the first ever Immigrant Business Showcase on Market Street as a part of the City’s involvement in Welcoming Week 2024," stated a city representative.
