City of Gibson Plan Commission met Nov. 8.

A. Public hearing for and consideration of an annexation agreement, rezoning, and special use permit consideration for the construction and operation of a solar farm for the following parcels located on the southwest edge of Gibson City:

Parcel 1:

The North Half (N 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Fourteen (14), Township Twenty-three (23) North, Range Seven (7), East of the Third Principal Meridian, situated in the County of Ford and State of Illinois, EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of said real estate deeded to the State of Illinois in Warranty Deed dated January 13, 1997 and recorded February 14, 1997 as Document No. 204959 in the Recorder's Office of Ford County, Illinois, and FURTHER EXCEPTING the railroad right of way.

Parcel 2:

The South Half (S 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Fourteen (14), Township Twenty-three (23) North, Range Seven (7), East of the Third Principal Meridian, situated in the County of Ford and State of Illinois, EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of said real estate deeded to the State of Illinois in Warranty Deed dated January 13, 1997 and recorded February 14, 1997 as Document No. 204959 in the Recorder's Office of Ford County, Illinois, and FURTHER EXCEPTING the railroad right of way.
