City of Gibson Pool Board met May 16

Meeting called to order by Deb Davis at 6:00 P.M. Board members Deb Davis, Rhianna Doman, Chandler Gregerson, Ernie Pearson, present.

• Allison Walter / Assistant Manager
• Ray Hankes / Guest
Approve Minutes
• Rhianna Doman made a motion to approve the 5/1/2023 minutes with Ernie Pearson seconding the motion. All votes were in favor. Minutes were approved.
Reports
Financial
• N/A
Manager Report / Randy Ferguson
• The paint is and the painters are ready to begin painting.
• We are expecting painting to be completed by the end of week – weather permitting.
• We plan to begin filling the pool by Saturday if all goes well.
Assistant Manager / Allison Walter
• The Gibson City Pool Guard Contract was reviewed. The GC Pool Contract and the GC Pool Manual will be shared with the guards.
• A meeting with the guards is planned for May 28.
• Allison will be adding all Pool information to the pool’s Facebook page (Gibson City Pool). This will be the place to find all Gibson City Pool hours, pass prices and other activities this summer.
Old Business
• The price for the self-closing & latching gate for the baby pool will be available at the next meeting.
New Business
• N/A

• The next meeting is Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 6:00 P.M. at City Hall.
