Home prices increased in Champaign during April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Champaign rose by $46,500 while total sales increased by three percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $208,000 - a 28.8 percent increase over the $161,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 66 homes sold in Champaign in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Champaign for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,614, approximately 1.7 percent of the median home sale price for April.
