Report: Cerro Gordo School District spent $11,290 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Cerro Gordo Community Unit School District 100 was up 26 percent from five years ago, according to the Chambana Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Piatt County school district spent $8,961 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,290 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 545 to 467 students over the same period.

Cerro Gordo's spending in 2019-20 was 22.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
