Report: Bismarck Henning School District spent $9,309 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Bismarck Henning Community Unit School District 1 was up 1 percent from five years ago, according to the Chambana Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Vermilion County school district spent $9,214 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,309 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 909 to 585 students over the same period.

Bismarck Henning's spending in 2019-20 was 35.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
