Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 19.
The program begins on Monday, June 15th, and runs through August 1. Sign up TODAY by emailing Joella, the Youth Services Librarian, at rantoullibys@gmail.com, OR calling the library at 893-3955 and speaking to Joella.
- You will have a weekly activity calendar and weekly bingo sheet. There will be a new calendar and bingo each week of the program (7 total). Complete a bingo to earn a prize for that week. While we aren't tracking reading this year, we still encourage you to read daily! Several of the squares on the bingo sheet are related to reading.
- We will be offering take home craft bags each week. They will be picked up as a curbside activity on Thursday mornings, Friday mornings, and Monday afternoons. The first day for pickups will be Monday, June 15th between 2 and 4pm.
- Prizes will be available for pickup in the late summer or early fall, depending on when we are able to safely reopen to the public.
- PDF files of the activity calendars and bingo sheets will be uploaded to this page of our website: http://www.rantoul.lib.il.us/summerreading.html
If you are unable to print them from home, they will be available for pickup during the pickup hours for the take home crafts.
