Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Piatt County?

There were two offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2019 that live in Piatt County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Chambana Sun.

The data shows that man and woman were released in Piatt County. The younger parolee was a 27-year-old woman sentenced for a crime against a person in 2014. The other was a 50-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2012.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jeffrey P. Allen. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2012 when he was 42 years old. He is now 50.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
