Champaign County Chamber of Commerce Inc issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
The Chamber is pleased to promote the 2020 8th grade career conference that will be held on January 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23 at the I-Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign. By choosing to be a speaker at this conference, you will play an important role in helping area students to realize the importance of planning for their future career. We need as many outstanding professionals from the local community as possible, to help plan a beneficial experience for the students.
Speakers will be asked to present information during two sessions. Sessions will range in size from 10-60 students and each presenter will provide an approximate 7-9 minute presentation during each session. Laptops with internet connectivity and projectors are provided in each room. If you are willing to present at the conference, the time commitment is 9:30 a.m. – 11:20 a.m.

Amanda will be sending out a confirmation email and the schedule with your designated day and time, at a later date.
