RANTOUL AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: RACC Annual Banquet

Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.

Dedicated to it's members, Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce throws an annual banquet to celebrate their partnerships.

This year will be new & exciting! Formal letters & RSVP instructions will be sent out however, if you prefer, please call or email us to RSVP.

You are invited to attend the Rantoul Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet on November 8th. This is our second largest event of the year and is a great networking opportunity, not to mention a great time! We are trying some new things this year and hope that you will join us! We will be talking about what we are working on, looking forward to & new implementations for the upcoming year. The event will be held at the Linden Banquet Center, located at 224 Wheat Avenue in Rantoul. We will begin the evening at 6:00pm with cocktail hour and the Silent Auction will be open for browsing. There will be awards presented for Citizen of the Year, Marv Remmers Volunteer of the Year, Educator of the Year and Business and New Business of the Year. The Community Foundation of Rantoul will also present their fall 2019 grant recipients.

Every year, RACC puts together baskets for our silent auction with items donated by our local businesses. If you choose to donate, you may choose to do an entire basket, partner with another business on a basket, contribute towards a specific basket, or provide a monetary donation and we will create a wonderful basket for you. Signage will be provided by RACC to promote the donors of each basket. Some of the themes for last year’s baskets were: Family Game Night, Holiday/Christmas, Wine, Chocolate & Cheese, Stay-cation Date Night, St. Louis or Chicago Package or Self-Care Baskets. We are more than happy to help with new ideas!

Please take the time to nominate someone that you know for recognition of our awards listed above. Please nominate someone on our website or stop in our office for a form.

Please RSVP by November 1st with the enclosed form. Tickets and Monetary Basket Donations are also available for purchase on Eventbrite this year. Go to Eventbrite.com and search Rantoul, IL and you will find tickets for the event. They are $35.00 per person. Tables of 8 are available at a deducted rate of $260.00. There is also a place for monetary donations for baskets on Eventbrite. Checks should be made payable to RACC. Feel free to call to organize a credit card payment as well. We will accept payments at the door however we do need an RSVP in order to do so. We hope to see you there!
