Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on July 22.
Some of our Interact kids made the annual trek to the Chicagoland FARA ride as the cleanup crew. Pictured here with GCMS alum Emily Young, the ride raised over $158,000! It was announced that there is one more drug trial to start this fall and that they have high hopes of developing a treatment for Friedreich’s Ataxia in 2020. WooHoo! We’re #FalconProud of all our GCMS family who volunteer, working toward a cure.
