Illinois State House District 102 issued the following announcement on June 26
“We had so many beautiful entries for my first ever district photography contest that it was definitely a challenge to choose winners, so I enlisted help from visitors to my Springfield office. With all of the votes tallied, I’m pleased to announce that the following amateur photographers garnered the most votes in their respective age groups:
Wren Hackett – child – 1st place
Charlie Mitsdarfer – adult – 1st place
Charles Thomas – adult – 2nd place
Crystal Trotter – adult – 3rd place
Congratulations to all those who entered! I’m looking forward to showing off your work in my Springfield office so all can see how remarkable are communities here in the 102nd district really are!” Representative Halbrook said.
