Piper City Fire Department issued the following announcement on May 1.
2900 n is passable with 1 lane open, unless this rain we are getting effects this. As far as we know, all other roads are clear of water. There is still some debris on the road so be careful driving around.
ROAD CLOSURE!! 2900 N is closed between 1200 and 1300 E due to water over the road in multiple places. please avoid this area. 1300 e is closed south of 2500 N (back road to chatsworth) due to flooding. There are also multiple places 2500 has water over the west bound lane, but east bound is mostly clear. Please pay attention today while driving around. #turnarounddontdrown
