Please stay off the roads if possible! Road conditions are deteriorating quickly!
Areas Affected: Lake; Newton; Kankakee; Kendall; Porter; Will; Grundy; Iroquois; Ford; Jasper
* WHAT.Freezing drizzle and rain. Total ice accumulations of
one tenth to two tenths of an inch expected.
* WHERE.Grundy, Kendall, Kankakee and Will Counties.
* WHEN.Until 9 PM CST this evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS.Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads. Slow down
and use caution while driving.
