Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Community Unified School District 5 issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.
Please note changes in this week's food pantry distribution owing to the impending winter storm.
The forecast for tomorrow morning calls for significant snowfall totals in our area, with little let up throughout the day. For everyone’s safety, we will be CLOSED TOMORROW, SATURDAY, JANUARY 12. As alternatives, we will be OPEN TODAY, FRIDAY, JANUARY 11, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In addition, we will be OPEN SUNDAY, JANUARY 13 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm (weather permitting). Please make note of these time changes and help us spread the word.
