The City of Danville rejected the only referendum on the Nov. 6 ballot.
The City of Danville Proposition for changing city management was not approved. The question on the ballot was "Shall the City of Danville, Illinois adopt the managerial form of municipal government and continue to elect aldermen from wards?"
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 3,251 approved and 4,592 opposed the referendum.
