U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress after succeeding John Shimkus in 2021, has recently used her social media platform to highlight her positions on the current administration and foster care reforms.

On November 13, 2025, Miller shared a link to a press release: " Read the full press release: https://t.co/QTqMg7l3Pf".

Later that day, she posted criticism of President Joe Biden's administration and praised former President Donald Trump. In her words from November 13, 2025: "Democrats under Joe Biden wrecked our economy, crushed families with record inflation, and allowed foreign nations to take advantage of us. President Trump is restoring American strength and prosperity. @PressSec lays out the FACTS! https://t.co/NyApw1PJwp".

The following day, on November 14, Miller commended actions by former President Trump and the First Lady regarding foster care reform: "President Trump and our First Lady are taking meaningful action to transform our foster care system. The administration's commitment to partnering with faith-based organizations and expanding support for foster youth will change lives!! https://t.co/lfu58MYAb5".

Miller’s comments come as she continues her tenure representing Illinois’ 15th district in Congress. She was first elected in 2020 after defeating Erika Weaver with over seventy percent of the vote and secured re-election in 2022 against Paul Lange by a similar margin.
