City of Urbana issued the following announcement on June 11.
Weather permitting, the intersection of East Illinois Street and South Webber Street will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2018, through 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018, for a water main replacement project done by Duce Construction for Illinois American Water Company.
Access will be maintained to all properties along East Illinois Street and South Webber Street but no through traffic will be permitted through the intersection during the project.
Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully through this and all construction areas. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this project.
