Report: Ludlow spent $12,239 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Ludlow Community Consolidated School District 142 is up 5 percent from five years ago, according to a Chambana Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Champaign County school district spent $11,661 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $12,239 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 95 to 80.

Ludlow's spending in 2016-17 was 6 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
