Urbana Civil Service Commission approves position descriptions

The city of Urbana Civil Service Commission met Wednesday to approve new city position descriptions.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the commission:

The Urbana Civil Service Commission performs various personnel functions for positions and employees covered by the Civil Service Ordinance. Members serve three-year alternating terms. Meetings are held at 4 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month in the Executive Conference Room of the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine St.

Pursuant to the Open Meeting Act, notice is hereby given that the Civil Service Commission of the City of Urbana will hold aregular meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016
