Urbana's ARMS Policy Board reviews Narrative screens

The city of Urbana's Area-Wide Records Management System (ARMS) Policy Board met Thursday.

The board oversees the ARMS program, as prescribed by the inter-governmental ARMS Agreement. ARMS is a software program used to manage police records electronically.

During Thursday's meeting, a new version of Narrative screens were released while the board reviewed additional planned changes to the Narrative.

The board also reviewed the ARMS operating budget for July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 while tabling discussion of the Security Policy and putting on hold the plan to reach out to smaller police agencies.

The board meets at 400 S. Vine St.
