The Champaign City Council met May 3 to discuss amending city ordinances to allow pub crawl vehicles, including sections of the Vehicles for Hire-Pedal Bus and Alcoholic Beverages-License Classifications ordinances.

The council also authorized the city manager to enter into multiple real estate transactions and to approve development agreements and zoning variances.

Finally, the City Council accepted a bid for a sewer lining project and for the purchase of a bucket truck.

The Champaign council meets at 102 N. Neil St.
