The village of Philo Board of Trustees met April 13 to approve multiple projects, including the striping of Washington Street, post office repairs and the renovation of the Veteran’s Monument sidewalk.
Information on the 2016 Motor Fuels Tax Oil and Chip Program was presented, and a discussion with the village attorney pertaining to the Liquor Control and Licensing Ordinance and Philo Gas & Car Wash's request for a license was held.
In other business, the board requested authorization to purchase of banquet tables, reviewed an intergovernmental agreement regarding Illinois American Water Co.'s proposed rate increase and received a request from Diamond Pro to make a donation for ball park upgrades.
