Dr. Deborah Townsend announced that members of both the CCMHD and the Champaign County Developmental Disabilities Board agreed that forming an Executive Search Committee was the best way to execute an organized search.
In response, the board agreed to pay its half of the estimated $7,500 search bill.
The board also agreed to revise its intergovernmental agreement with CCBBD related to the search. The agreement outlines the terms for the two boards to work together on the search.
Peter Tracy, who is currently serving as Executive Director, said he was willing to continue filling the position as long as needed while the boards find a suitable replacement.
