The Urbana City Council will hold a special meeting tonight at the Urbana City Building to vote on increasing the number of available liquor licenses to accommodate two local businesses.
The council will vote on ordinances that would raise the number of Class MB-2-01 and BB liquor licenses for Riggs Beer Co. and increase the number of Class G1 liquor licenses for the Wyndham Garden Urbana.
The issue was considered by the Urbana Committee of the Whole on March 21.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at 400 S. Vine St.
