Urbana council to vote on bike and pedestrian committee appointments

The Urbana City Council will vote on the nominations of Annie Adams and Lily Wilcock to the Urbana Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee tonight at the Urbana City Building.

The council will also consider the appointments of Sara Jones to the Public Arts Commission and Brian Kerlin to the Market at the Square Advisory Board.

The council will also hear a report on a number of ordinances and resolutions reviewed by the Urbana Committee of the Whole. Among them is a resolution calling for increased higher education funding, an ordinance bringing the city in compliance with new state liquor service license requirements, and a resolution allowing federal assistance with the city's Lincoln Avenue construction project.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at 400 S. Vine St.
