The Champaign County Committee of the Whole was expected to vote Tuesday on a series of four budget amendments worth more than $333,000.
The board considered adding $5,000 of federal emergency preparedness grant money to the County Coroner's budget, $145,912 of Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program grant money to the county's general fund, $135,000 in grant funds for Tenant Based Rental Assistance, and $47,000 for a contract with U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development to improve the access of homeless people to support services.
The board was also scheduled to discuss the sunset period for the Local Foods Policy Council, review committee reports, and vote on approving the county engineer's employment contract.
