The Champaign County Administrator Search Committee held two closed sessions Thursday.
The county has been looking for a new administrator since last year. The selected candidate will be expected to help administer the county board's agenda, as well as directly oversee the county's engineering, planning, information technology, facilities, animal control and assessment business.
The selected candidate will receive a minimum salary of $125,000.
The committee consists of Chairman James Quisenberry, Chris Alix, Jack Anderson, Deb Busey , Gordy Hulten, Pattsi Petrie, Barbara Ramsay, Julia Rietz, Jon Schroeder and Dan Walsh.
