The Champaign County Racial Justice Task Force will continue taking formative steps today at the Brookens Administrative Center by hashing out several organizational questions.

The task force will discuss meeting rules, craft a mission statement, and move to approve a meeting schedule for the next two years.

If approved, the group would meet twice per month in the Brookens Center's Lyle Shields Meeting Room.

The group last met Feb. 11, when it began creating and filling leadership positions, discussed the group's mission, and considered the group's organizational structure.

Thursday's meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the John Dimit Meeting Room at 1776 E. Washington St.
