The Champaign County Zoning Board of Appeals will meet today at the Brookens Administrative Center to continue its hearing on a set of new zoning codes that would govern rural residential developments.
The new rules, proposed by the county's zoning administrator, lay out preservation requirements, driveway specifications, groundwater procedures, lot size and access mandates.
The board will also hold hearings on Darren Ramm's request to employ five additional employees on his 1.83-acre property and Greenside Lawn Care's request for a permitted contractor's facility and caretaker's residence in Hensley Township's Meadow Ridge Subdivision.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Lyle Shields Meeting Room at 1776 E. Washington St.
