The city of Urbana Committee of the Whole will meet tonight at the Urbana City Building to vote on measures that could shift the way gasoline is taxed in the city.
The committee will vote on an ordinance repealing and amending the city's rules for its municipal gas use tax, as well as a resolution supporting an increase in the gasoline tax, which is included in gas station fuel prices.
The city will also vote on approving a redevelopment agreement with Central Illinois Soccer Enterprises LLC and a new section of city code officially implementing the state's new requirement for mandatory alcohol server training for anyone serving alcohol to the public.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at 400 S. Vine St.
