The Champaign County Mental Health Board will nominate and elect a president and vice president during its Wednesday meeting.

The board will also review a slideshow presentation on the Justice and Mental Health

Collaboration Program grant. The $149,999 grant was awarded to the county by the Department of Justice to implement programs and assessments over the next two years that will reduce the number of mentally ill people in jail.

The board will also review updates to the state's cultural and linguistic competence guidelines, which set standards for cultural competence and sensitivity for those working on state-sponsored projects.

The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the Lyle Shields Meeting Room at the Brookens Administrative Center, 1776 E. Washington St.
