The city of Champaign Township Board convened for its regular monthly meeting in City Council chambers on Dec. 1 with a 7 p.m. call to order and roll call.
Minutes from three separate previous meetings were approved — one regular meeting from Nov. 3 and two special meetings, dated Nov. 10 and Nov. 17.
After approval of all minutes, correspondence was discussed, followed by a summary of expenditures from November 2015.
The Board then discussed two current ordinances and resolutions; first, an ordinance levying 2015 taxes for the City of Champaign Township to be collectible in 2016 and second, a resolution regarding approval of real estate purchases. A report to the Town Board was made regarding purchase of property, together with pertinent attachments.
Time was set aside for audience participation in case of questions, remarks or further discussion. The Town Board and Town Supervisor made their remarks. The meeting was then adjourned, with the next regular board meeting scheduled for Jan. 5.
