The Tolono Village Board will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at Village Hall.
After public comments are heard, the Public Works Department will review and approve applicants for part-time seasonal staff, as well as discuss and approve a job description for superintendent of the department. The board then will decide whether this position should be filled by mayoral appointment.
The board also will hear an update on the search for a village treasurer and consider hiring a staffer to help keep village offices clean.
The zoning administrator will present, and the board will discuss, plans for a new police station.
Village engineers also will provide an update on their culvert repairs and attempts to negotiate railroad repairs for Holden Crossing.
