The village of Rantoul Board of Trustees passed its 2015 tax levy during a regular meeting Tuesday.
The $1.2 million levy primarily covers employee benefits and library services. More than $708,000 will go toward police pensions, $445,000 will support the library, and $41,900 will go toward benefits for village employees.
The levy passed by a 6-0 vote.
