The Cunningham Township Board unanimously approved the township's 2015 tax levy for the Town Fund and General Assistance Fund at its Nov. 23 meeting in the City Council Chambers at Urbana City Building.
The board discussed the plan for future levies over the next five years, in light of previous suggestions to consider placing a cap on the amount of tax that can be levied.
The board also approved a resolution authorizing a request for a hearing with the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board. Details on the hearing were not made available.
