Both northbound lanes on Prospect Avenue at the intersection with Vine Street have been closed to allow for emergency water main repairs. Illinois American Water Company is overseeing the repair work. During this period, one lane in each direction will remain open to traffic. The repairs are expected to be finished and all lanes reopened by Thursday, November 20, 2025, depending on weather conditions.
