Parking arrangements for Illinois volleyball’s upcoming home matches have been changed due to other sporting events on campus this weekend.
On Friday, Illinois volleyball will host Washington. However, the State Farm Center northeast lot will not be available for volleyball parking because of a men’s basketball game against Colgate taking place at the same time. Fans attending the volleyball match are advised to use the Bielfeldt Athletics Administration Building parking lot instead. A shuttle service will operate as usual, beginning 90 minutes before the first serve. Additional options include metered and free parking lots nearby.
For Saturday’s match against #11 Wisconsin, road closures related to Illinois football’s home game against Maryland will affect access. The shuttle service for volleyball fans will start at 7 p.m., which is 60 minutes prior to first serve. On Saturday, both the Bielfeldt lot and the State Farm Center northeast parking lot will be available for use.
The university has warned that increased traffic is expected in the area on both days due to overlapping athletic events.
