On November 8, 2025, residents of Ashland Park participated in a neighborhood cleanup event focused on the north pond located at Olympian Drive and Prospect Avenue. The effort was organized by the Ashland Park Homeowners Association (HOA), with volunteers collecting 12 bags of litter from the area.
To support the cleanup, equipment such as litter sticks, buckets, and gloves were borrowed from the Neighborhood Relations Division Engagement Trailer. This event marked the final session in a series of cleanups that had taken place over several months. According to organizers, breaking up the task into smaller jobs allowed neighbors to address litter issues more effectively.
The group expressed satisfaction at completing all scheduled events before colder weather arrived. “The group was happy to be able to complete all their scheduled litter clean up events before the cold weather and snow moved in,” stated organizers.
